Description
As an experienced shovel operator, you'll work independently with heavy equipment for clients in civil engineering, demolition, and recycling. You'll work neatly, maintain an overview, and contribute to sustainable projects.
Job requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a shovel operator, preferably with heavy equipment
- In possession of a VCA certificate
- Independent, flexible and practical working attitude
- Sense of responsibility and strong safety awareness
- Physically fit and used to working on construction sites and grounds
Tasks
- Operating various shovels and attachments on diverse projects
- Loading, unloading and moving of soil, demolition and recycling materials
- Leveling areas and supporting ground works
- Sorting and moving waste flows and raw materials at recycling locations
- Perform basic maintenance on the shovel and ensure a tidy work area
- Working in accordance with applicable safety standards (VCA)
