Technical Paint Specialist
Technical advisor for paint and coatings, responsible for paint technical advice and reporting.
Requirements: MBO+/HBO level and at least three years of experience with paint or coating systems.
Working area is mainly Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe.
Description
A technically focused role in which, as a technical advisor for paints and coatings, you translate paint technology issues into clear treatment plans and recommendations. You act as a link between clients, sales, and technical departments, working closely with the Commercial Account Manager. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you play a key role in supporting clients and wholesalers.

You are an analytical and communicative professional with a passion for technology. You maintain an overview in complex situations, set priorities, and switch between customer-focused service and technical expertise. You feel comfortable working independently and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and partners throughout the supply chain.
- MBO+/HBO work and thinking level, preferably in chemistry, application technology or materials science.
- At least 3 years of work experience with paint or coating systems.
- Knowledge of LCA, MKI, circularity and relevant environmental legislation.
- Experience with PropertyPlan and RGS+ is a plus.
- Able to independently analyze complex issues and translate them into practical solutions.
Tasks
- Analyzing customer needs and preparing paint technical advice and reports.
- Identifying market developments and translating them into concrete improvement proposals.
- Handling complaints and warranty notifications in collaboration with internal teams.
- Increasing the knowledge of customers, colleagues and chain partners through training and coaching.
- Registering research results, visit reports and schedules in the CRM system.
