Requires MBO diploma for First Engineer Gas/Water/Heat and VP LD networks (VIAG).
Works regionally, travels from home to the first work location, and works in the Realization team.
Description
As a Gas Fault On-Call Service (SWD), you contribute to a reliable and future-proof gas network and to the energy transition. You work at various locations in your region and depart from home to your first work location, where you get to work according to instructions from the supervisor or planner. You are part of the Realization team and make a direct contribution to both regular work activities and fault resolution outside office hours.
Job requirements
- Diploma First Gas/Water/Heat Fitter at MBO level 3 or higher.
- At least a VP LD network designation from VIAG.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving License B.
- Working responsibly and with a safety mindset (working pressures ranging from 30 mBar to 8 Bar); unsafe working is not an option.
- Willingness to seek technical solutions and to clearly inform both colleagues and customers.
Tasks
- Depart from home to the first work location and carry out work according to instructions from the site manager or planner.
- Replacing existing gas pipes and carrying out periodic maintenance on the gas network.
- As a breakdown technician, respond to reports from the control room, locate gas leaks, and look for possible solutions.
- In the event of emergencies, such as a house fire, cooperate with the fire department, for example, to safely shut off the gas supply.
- Collaborating with mechanics, supervisors, technicians, and specialists to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
