Description of the organization
Sterk op Stroom is the energy cooperative for the Vruchtenbuurt and surrounding neighborhoods. We are local residents who want to generate, store, and smartly share green and affordable energy locally, with the goal of providing a fair and green energy supply for the neighborhood.
By 2025, the cooperative will be working on strengthening its governance and working groups, improving decision-making, increasing transparency, and ensuring sound finances. The organization aims to grow its membership, share knowledge, collaborate with partners, and take action to strengthen the energy community.
Sterk op Stroom collaborates with other cooperatives and partners such as Energie Samen, Trinova, and grid operator Stedin to promote innovation and knowledge sharing.
