Field Account Manager
Description
Field Account Manager for the Southwest Netherlands region and beyond. You'll be responsible for relationship management and developing new business, frequently working remotely, and coordinating quotes and technical feasibility with internal staff and project managers.
Job requirements
- MBO-4 working and thinking level.
- At least 3–5 years of experience as an account manager in a comparable sector (installation industry, technical wholesaler, energy, electrical engineering or agricultural sector).
- Demonstrable experience with new business and relationship management.
- Technical insight; you understand what you are selling.
- Ability to work independently and manage own agenda.
- Commercial drive and results orientation.
Tasks
General overview of the workweek: you start from home, schedule your own appointments, and travel frequently. Approximately every two weeks, you'll work at the office in the Joure area to meet with colleagues.
- Visiting existing customers (installers, technical parties, agricultural entrepreneurs).
- Actively seek and develop new business within and outside the existing network.
- Advising on solar energy projects and customized solutions.
- Identifying commercial opportunities with existing relationships.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Prepare quotations together with the internal service.
- Coordinating with project managers on technical feasibility and planning.

MarEtec serves various clients and sectors in the Netherlands and Belgium, including businesses, agriculture, and installation companies. MarEtec installs approximately 50.000 solar panels annually.
