Environmental Manager Energy Transition
Description
As a Junior Environmental Manager Energy Transition, you are responsible for monitoring and representing environmental interests within infrastructure projects.
Job requirements
- At least 1–2 years of experience in environmental management, communications or stakeholder management in infrastructure projects.
- Completed higher professional education in Civil Engineering, Communications, Spatial Planning or similar.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch.
- Strong social skills, empathy and the ability to reconcile interests.
- Affinity with civil engineering and understanding of the challenges of working in public spaces.
- Proactive and solution-oriented work attitude; able to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexible and stress-resistant.
- Driving License B.
Tasks
- Act as a point of contact for residents, businesses, and government agencies during project implementation.
- Informing stakeholders and ensuring that their interests are taken into account in planning and implementation.
- Work closely with project managers, implementers and other disciplines to coordinate activities.
- Identifying and resolving environmental issues and contributing to satisfied residents.
- Contribute to the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.
