Environmental Manager Energy Transition
Junior Environmental Manager Energy Transition, responsible for stakeholder communication and environmental management in infrastructure projects. A higher professional education (HBO) degree and 1-2 years of relevant work experience are required; excellent command of Dutch is required. Description
As a Junior Environmental Manager for Energy Transition, you'll be responsible for communication between the project and the surrounding community in infrastructure projects focused on the energy transition. You'll serve as the point of contact for residents, businesses, and government agencies, ensuring that stakeholders' interests are considered during implementation.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education in Communication, Spatial Planning, Civil Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience in environmental management, communications or stakeholder management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Affinity with infrastructure, construction and energy transition.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer-oriented attitude and the ability to listen carefully to different interests.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
Tasks
- Act as the face of the project towards residents, businesses, governments and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all parties involved are informed about activities in a timely and clear manner.
- Ensure that the interests of stakeholders are taken into account in the implementation.
- Work closely with project managers, executors and other disciplines to ensure that projects run smoothly.
- Limiting environmental impact through proactive coordination and planning.
- Contribute to the organization's reputation through professional and proactive communication.
