Description
As a Junior Environmental Manager, you are the point of contact for stakeholders during infrastructure projects and you ensure clear communication, support, and collaboration with the project team.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education in communications, business administration, civil engineering or a similar field.
- 0–1 year of work experience in a similar position or relevant internship experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch.
- Strong social skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Affinity with infrastructure projects and technical work.
Tasks
- Act as a point of contact for residents, businesses, and government agencies during infrastructure projects.
- Informing stakeholders in a timely and clear manner about the work and expected inconvenience.
- Promoting a positive project experience despite unavoidable disruption.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other specialists to ensure projects run smoothly and parties are satisfied.
