Description

As a Junior Environmental Manager, you are the point of contact for stakeholders during infrastructure projects and you ensure clear communication, support, and collaboration with the project team.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher professional education in communications, business administration, civil engineering or a similar field.
  • 0–1 year of work experience in a similar position or relevant internship experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch.
  • Strong social skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Affinity with infrastructure projects and technical work.

Tasks

  • Act as a point of contact for residents, businesses, and government agencies during infrastructure projects.
  • Informing stakeholders in a timely and clear manner about the work and expected inconvenience.
  • Promoting a positive project experience despite unavoidable disruption.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other specialists to ensure projects run smoothly and parties are satisfied.
