Description
You will work within the Realization department in the Drenthe region in a team with fitters, site managers, technicians, and specialists. The working atmosphere is collegial, and you are given the opportunity to learn the trade, with constant support from colleagues. In this work-study program, you combine practical fieldwork with vocational school lessons and contribute to a reliable gas network.
Job requirements
- Motivation to pursue an MBO level 3 education and associated safety training; completion is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving License B.
- Residence in or near the Drenthe or South Groningen region due to breakdown services.
- Safety-conscious attitude; you seek technical solutions and can clearly inform colleagues and customers.
Tasks
- Completion of a recognized MBO level 3 work-study program with theory and practical lessons.
- Carrying out inspection and maintenance work on the gas network.
- Detecting gas leaks and carrying out remediation work.
- Troubleshooting and implementing network improvements.
- Working from a company van and visiting various locations in the region.
- Working with and being guided by an experienced buddy on all tasks.
- Participate in breakdown services and eventually progress to an independent on-call breakdown technician for low- and high-pressure networks.

Working conditions
