Sustainability Advisor
Sustainability Advisor advises on sustainability issues and supports projects such as heat transition and climate adaptation.
Minimum higher professional education, experience advising management and experience in small or medium-sized municipalities required.
Assignments are within the government, with work in Groningen and Drenthe.

As a Sustainability Advisor, you will work on government assignments where you will provide administrative advice on sustainability issues and support projects that contribute to a green future.
Job requirements
- At least a completed relevant higher professional education degree.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent advisory skills, so that you are a strong discussion partner.
- Experience in advising the board in the past year.
- Work experience in small and medium-sized municipal organisations in the past year.
- Work experience with project-based and process-based work in the past three years.
Tasks
- Advising the board on sustainability issues and providing input on other policy areas.
- Supporting projects aimed at reducing nitrogen, climate adaptation and realising a heat transition.
- Translating and realising sustainability ambitions into concrete actions and projects.
- Connecting socially sustainable initiatives to the right project staff.
- Working at a tactical-strategic level and making operational contributions where necessary.
