Description

You'll work from planning to implementation, implementing environmental management at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels. You'll monitor diverse interests, build support, and communicate with stakeholders within projects in road and hydraulic engineering, energy, and area development.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher vocational or university education.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience at the level of strategic environmental management.
  • Experience working at strategic, tactical and operational levels and with (political) decision-making processes.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented and collaborative.
  • Preferably knowledge of participation processes, the Environmental Act, the design process, systems engineering (e.g. customer requirements specifications) and contract forms.
  • Proficient in Dutch, spoken and written, minimum C1 level.

Tasks

  • Conduct and coordinate a controlled stakeholder management process from planning to realization.
  • Collecting customer wishes and requirements and translating them into contractual documents.
  • Creating support and ensuring communication with residents and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining an overview of various interests and taking practical action to protect project goals.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and switching between project and environment.
  • Identifying and weighing tensions between contractual restrictions and environmental needs and aligning the parties.
