Required: MBO level 4 civil or environmental engineering knowledge and VCA-VOL or willingness to obtain this.
Description
As a Location Manager, you are responsible for operational management on site, supervision of work and planning of maintenance activities.
Job requirements
- MBO level 4 diploma with civil engineering or environmental engineering knowledge.
- Relevant work experience in a similar position and knowledge of the design and construction of infrastructure facilities.
- VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain this.
- Strong sense of responsibility; able to work independently and function well in a team.
- Proactive, solution-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Pré: knowledge of storage and processing of waste materials.
- Pre: knowledge of the Soil Quality Decree and relevant BRLs.
Tasks
- Start with a tour of the various locations to manage the daily operational activities.
- Monitoring the progress of work and coordinating the deployment of machinery and personnel.
- Carrying out measurements and layout work.
- Taking samples of waste streams for analysis.
- Planning and preparing maintenance work for roads, sewers, roadsides, and other areas.
- Supervising external parties that carry out work.
- Assisting the company manager where necessary.
- Manage and maintain buildings and grounds and ensure a safe, tidy and organized working environment.
- Communicate correctly with colleagues, visitors and suppliers.

You will work within the MSWS NL business line to keep soil, air, and water clean, in a close-knit team with an informal atmosphere. You will be based in Groningen.
