Requires a higher vocational or university education in urban planning, urban development or similar.
You work under the supervision of a senior advisor and contribute to integrated solutions.
Description
The Junior Area Development Advisor works on sustainable and future-proof urban development. Urban areas are under increasing pressure due to housing demand, limited space, and complex preconditions. Simultaneously, transitions in energy, circularity, and nature are taking place, making area development complex. In this role, you'll help solve this complex puzzle by contributing to integrated solutions based on both content and process. As a junior advisor, you'll explore your talents and ambitions under the guidance of a senior advisor.

- You enjoy working on social and spatial issues with impact.
- You think integrally and are curious about the relationship between space, energy and sustainability.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- You switch easily between content and process and enjoy working together on future-proof solutions.
- A completed higher vocational or university education, for example in urban planning, spatial planning, geography or urban development.
- Affinity with sustainability and/or energy transition.
Tasks
- Contribute to area developments and spatial strategies.
- Drafting visions, policies and spatial justifications.
- Advising on sustainability, energy and grid-conscious actions.
- Guiding participation and environmental processes.
- Collaborate with municipalities, initiators and other stakeholders.
Working conditions
- Partly working from our office in Groningen and partly on location at the client's location.
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract.
