In this position, you fulfill a dual role: you lead concrete and hydraulic engineering projects and are responsible for day-to-day operations. You report directly to the Management Board and combine project management, operational management, and strategic commercial tasks.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in project management and leadership positions within the concrete and hydraulic engineering sector.
  • Strong commercial skills and an extensive network in the sector.
  • Experience in leading a company or business unit.
  • Excellent leadership qualities and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant standards, certifications, and contract forms, such as UAV-GC.

Tasks

  • Management of various concrete and hydraulic engineering projects in the Northern Netherlands; ensuring timely delivery within budget and according to quality requirements.

  • Maintaining and strengthening long-term relationships with clients; identifying and developing new business opportunities; participating in tender processes and preparing quotations.
  • Leading the team, fostering a professional culture, adhering to agreements, and encouraging collaboration and personal development.
  • Maintaining and improving quality and sustainability; complying with ISO, VCA, FSC, and CO2 Level 5 certifications; implementing and improving processes.
  • Collaborating with the management on integration and growth strategy, identifying opportunities for synergy, and contributing to strengthening the market position in the Northern Netherlands.
