Description
As a steward, you ensure that the energy transition gains a foothold, both literally and figuratively. You work on sustainable projects in Groningen and Friesland and arrange agreements with landowners so that projects can start.
Job requirements
- HBO education in real estate, property management or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land acquisition and land affairs.
- Financial and legal insight into land use.
- Knowledge of infrastructure projects or agriculture is an advantage.
- Member or aspiring member of the NVR or completed training as a steward.
- Strong communication skills and a sense of interests.
Tasks
- Negotiating the purchase, use, or lease of land for cables, pipelines, and stations.
- Drafting legal documents and compensation schemes.
- Facilitating kitchen table conversations with landowners and explaining projects.
- Coordinate with internal colleagues such as lawyers, environmental managers and technicians.
- To contribute ideas and make proposals for improvements in the land acquisition process.
- Drafting and developing contracts and monitoring the progress of multiple projects.
