Description
MBO/HBO internship focused on technology, building physics, and sustainability. You will participate in projects within an internship program tailored to your needs, in which you are guided by an experienced supervisor. Opportunities are available for both graduation research and work experience internships. Depending on your field of study, you will work at the Building Physics or Installation Technology department and explore where your interests and development opportunities lie.
Job requirements
- You are following a technical MBO or HBO program, for example Construction, Installation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or something similar.
- Interested in technology, building physics, and sustainability.
- You are curious, enjoy socializing, and are not afraid to ask questions.
Tasks
- Observe experienced consultants and learn how theory is applied in practice, for example in the realization of technical installations.
- Assisting with building physics research, such as daylight simulations and acoustic analyses.
- Preparation of (construction) technical calculations and drawings for energy performance, insulation, and ventilation.
- Attend meetings and observe construction projects on location.
Working conditions
- Internship allowance: 80; MBO 90; 60; 360 per month; HBO 90; 550 per month.
- Tailored internship program with an experienced supervisor.

Description of the organization
The firm has been in existence for nearly twenty years and was the first in the Netherlands to BIM a project. The company has contributed to various major projects, including the Achmea headquarters, the oldest fire station in the Benelux, more than 300 schools, and various cultural and sports centers throughout the Netherlands. Approximately 25 specialists from different disciplines work under one roof, such as engineers, project managers, and sustainability consultants. The core pillars are mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, fire safety, and building physics, with sustainability as a key guiding principle. The office in IJlst is located in the old 'Nooitgedagt' ice skate factory.
