Description
For a major grid operator in the Northern Netherlands, you'll be responsible for getting the energy transition off the ground. You'll work on sustainable projects in Groningen and Friesland, such as the construction of cable routes, distribution stations, and connections to solar and wind farms. You'll ensure agreements are finalized with landowners and other stakeholders so projects can begin.
Job requirements
- HBO education in real estate, property management or similar.
- At least five years of experience in land acquisition and land affairs.
- Financial and legal insight into land use.
- Knowledge of infrastructure projects or agriculture is an advantage.
- Member or aspiring member of the NVR or completed training as a steward.
- Strong communication skills and a sense of interests.
Tasks
- Negotiating the purchase, use, or lease of land for cables, pipelines, and stations.
- Drafting and elaborating legal documents and compensation schemes.
- Conducting kitchen table discussions with landowners.
- Coordinate with internal lawyers, environmental managers, and technicians on project conditions and progress.
- To contribute ideas and make proposals for improvements in the land acquisition process.
- Visiting locations and preparing contracts and project administration.
