Description

As a Technical Expert, you are responsible for ensuring safety and quality in the gas networks. You function as an advisor and coach, communicate with all levels of the organisation, and act as a bridge between policymakers and implementing parties. You work closely with the Engineering and Realization departments and play a central role in shaping technical solutions and implementing changes in the network.

Job requirements

  • Higher professional education in a technical field (for example, mechanical engineering).
  • Willingness to follow the post-HBO course Energy Transition and Sustainable Energy (formerly HGT).
  • Knowledge of grid configurations and grid installations/components.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with process and project management and with HSE legislation and applicable guidelines (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in gas distribution technology and with independently solving technically complex problems in energy networks and installations.
  • Strong skills in problem analysis and quality-oriented work.
  • Decisiveness and persuasiveness when giving advice and presentations.

Tasks

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the gas networks in the assigned area.

  • Extensive welcome package and program.
  • Contribution of 70% to the ABP Choice Pension.
  • Possibility of an organisation car.
  • Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10,7% of the gross annual salary, flexible in use.
  • 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment, with the option to purchase additional days.
  • Opportunities to work from home, including a home workstation provided by the organisation and compensation for each day of working from home.

Description of the organisation

You will be working within a team with a high degree of specialization and technical expertise. The work atmosphere is structured and collegial, with an emphasis on togetherness, a sense of responsibility, and quality over quantity. Openness, social safety, and mutual respect characterize the team culture. The Technical Expertise team consists of approximately thirty colleagues, primarily with a technical background, who complement each other from different perspectives and collaborate on the energy transition.
