Description

You work at high-voltage substations in the Northern Netherlands and contribute to a reliable and future-proof electricity grid. You carry out work on installations where older technology and modern systems come together, always with maximum attention to safety and quality.

Job requirements

  • Minimum MBO-2 level in electrical engineering or automotive technology.
  • VCA certificate and preferably BHV, or the motivation to obtain these through the employer.
  • Driving License B.
  • Technical affinity with electrical and mechanical installations.
  • Concentration, good listening, clear communication, and reliability in a team setting.

Tasks

  • Performing maintenance and conducting inspections on switches, power transformers (110 kV/10 kV), batteries, and rectifiers.
  • Project-based work on expansions and replacements of installations.
  • Working according to the four-eyes principle, together with a technical specialist or team leader.
  • Drive from home to the work location and carry out work there with your work van.
  • On call for breakdowns for one week once every six weeks and be available by phone 24/7.
