Description

As Energy Transition Policy Officer, you are responsible for steering and realizing the Heat Vision and translating it into a heat program under the Environmental Vision. You contribute to CO2 reduction and strengthen the municipality's environmental policy, and advise the organisation on energy transition.

Job requirements

  • At least a university degree.
  • General knowledge of content and legislation in the field of sustainability and energy.
  • Collaborative, connecting attitude and experience with co-creation.
  • Experience managing projects, preferably in physical infrastructure or energy.
  • Good communication skills; you convey your message clearly and convincingly.

Tasks

  • Steering and realizing the heat vision and translating it into a heat program under the environmental vision.
  • Implementing the Heat Program, including plans for when neighborhoods are disconnected from natural gas.
  • Converting plans into concrete actions in neighborhoods, including developing neighborhood implementation plans.
  • Developing policies that respond to new and unexpected developments in the heat transition.
  • Monitoring progress and providing reports and financial accountability for projects.
  • Ensuring policy is embedded by managing implementation, both within the organisation and externally.
  • Advising and informing the organisation and collaborating on the drafting, implementation, and evaluation of new policies.
