Aspiring electrician who troubleshoots and maintains installations. Requires VMBO or an electrical engineering background and willingness to pursue an MBO-3 program. You will work in the region and combine practical work with vocational school.
Description
You learn a real trade and thereby lay the foundation of the energy transition. You work at many different locations in the region and often start from home. You combine practical days with learning through our vocational school and work closely with experienced technicians.
Job requirements
- Vmbo diploma (theoretical, mixed or intermediate vocational education) or a specialisation in electrical engineering.
- Willingness to follow a practical MBO-3 training to become an electrician.
- Experience with electrical engineering through education or work.
- Proficiency with computers.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Residing in the Groningen region (Leek and surroundings are preferred due to on-call services).
- Good command of the Dutch language, at least at B2 level.
Tasks
- Starting from home and performing work at various locations in the region.
- Resolving malfunctions and participating in breakdown services.
- Performing maintenance work and inspections of stations.
- Replacing distribution boxes and converting distribution stations.
- Loading transformer loads.
- Shadowing an experienced mechanic during practical training days.
- Writing school reports and taking exams for safety training.
- Ensuring that the company van receives maintenance on time and that the MOT is scheduled.
Working conditions
- Paid MBO-3 training to become an electrician via the vocational school, combining theory and practice.
- Official diploma and job guarantee after completing the training.
- Your own company van from day one, equipped with tools, plus work clothing.
- Laptop and phone, which may also be used privately.
- 8% holiday allowance on the gross annual salary.
- Contribution of 70% to the ABP Choice Pension.
- Compensation of €455 gross per on-call and breakdown shift and additional payment for the actual hours worked during breakdowns; additional leave days are accrued.
- Outpatient allowance of €80 gross per month.
- Annual vitality budget of €700, for example for a gym membership or nutritional advice.
- Working with equipment that generates electromagnetic fields; when wearing a pacemaker, possible influence must be taken into account.
Description of the organization
The Realization department at the branch consists of employees with technical backgrounds, such as mechanics, technicians, and site managers. You regularly collaborate with other teams. Trust, flexibility, and craftsmanship are core values. You work from a base “home” and are affiliated with the branch in Kolham/Groningen.
