Description
You will learn a real trade and thereby lay the foundation for the energy transition. You will work at various locations in the region and follow a paid MBO-3 (vocational) training program to become an electrician. The program combines two days of theory and practice with three days shadowing an experienced technician and leads to an official diploma and a job guarantee.
Job requirements
- Motivation to pursue an MBO-3 program and associated safety training; a completed education is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Willingness and residence in the region due to working on-call shifts.
- Responsible, safe work attitude and the ability to seek technical solutions and clearly inform colleagues and customers.
Tasks
- Complete the training to become an electrician, including writing school reports and taking safety training exams.
- Performing maintenance work and troubleshooting together with colleagues.
- Ensuring timely maintenance of the company van and scheduling the MOT.
- Starting work assignments often from home and carrying out planned activities on location.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining installations, replacing distribution cabinets, and converting complete substations.
- Inspecting stations and recording transformer loads during quieter moments.
- Performing on-call duties as soon as deemed ready.
Working conditions
You will immediately receive a company van, laptop, smartphone, good tools, and work clothing. The training consists of two days of theory/practice and three days of shadowing; a shadowing day is possible.
- Official diploma after training and job guarantee.
- 8% holiday allowance on the gross annual salary.
- Contribution to the ABP Optional Pension.
- Compensation per on-call and breakdown shift (€455 gross) and extra payment for hours during breakdowns; in addition, you accrue additional leave days.
- Outpatient allowance of €80 gross per month and an annual vitality budget of €700.
- The application process includes an initial interview, possibly a shadowing day, and screening with diploma verification, an assessment, and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
- Please note: work is performed using equipment that generates electromagnetic fields; this may affect the operation of a pacemaker.
Description of the organization
