Description
You will learn the trade of electrical technician and work on the energy grid in the Emmen region. The position is varied and field-oriented, involving a lot of travel and collaborating with experienced colleagues.
Job requirements
- Motivation to pursue an MBO-3 program to become an electrician and the associated safety training, or a completed MBO-3 program, is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving License B.
- Residing in the Drenthe region due to participation in breakdown services.
- Safety awareness and willingness to work in accordance with safety regulations.
Tasks
- Completing the training to become an electrician and carrying out the associated practical assignments.
- Writing reports for school and participating in safety training exams.
- Performing maintenance work on installations and distribution cabinets.
- Resolving malfunctions together with colleagues and participating in the on-call service.
- Ensuring timely maintenance of the company van and scheduling the vehicle inspection.
- Often start from home and perform work on location, such as converting substations, inspecting stations, and recording transformer loads.
Working conditions
You will follow a paid MBO-3 program with practical and theoretical days and work alongside an experienced mechanic. Official diploma and job guarantee upon successful completion; a shadowing day is possible.
- From day one, your own Enexis van with tools, and a laptop and phone that you may also use privately.
- Work clothes and good tools.
- 8% holiday allowance on the gross annual salary.
- Contribution to the ABP Optional Pension (70% contribution by employer).
- Compensation of 955 gross per on-call and breakdown service, with extra payment for hours worked during breakdowns and additional leave days.
- Ambulatory allowance of 980 gross per month and an annual vitality budget of 9700.
- Screening is part of the application procedure (verification of diplomas, assessment, and requesting a Certificate of Good Conduct).
- Caution: working with company equipment can generate electromagnetic fields that can affect the operation of a pacemaker.
Description of the organization
The Realization department in Emmen consists of mechanics, technicians, and site managers and collaborates frequently with other teams. Core values are trust, flexibility, and craftsmanship. You work operationally from a home base and are affiliated with the Emmen branch.
