Upcoming Gas Installer

Location: Emmen. Apprenticeship program where you learn everything about gas technology and contribute to the energy transition. You will work at various locations in the region and develop from an apprentice to an independent technician through both field and practical training.

• Motivation to follow the MBO level 3 program and associated safety training (completion is a plus).
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Driving License B.
• Living in the Drenthe or South Groningen region because of the emergency services.
• Safety awareness, technical problem-solving skills, and clear communication with colleagues and customers.

• Complete an accredited MBO level 3 training course to become a gas fitter.
• Guidance by an experienced buddy during all common tasks.
• Daily activities: inspection and maintenance, troubleshooting, and carrying out network improvements.
• Remediation work on gas pipelines, detecting gas leaks, and resolving malfunctions in the gas network.
• Working on both low- and high-pressure gas networks (approximately 30 mBar to 8 Bar), with a focus on safety.
• Use of a private bus to supply customers with natural and green gas at locations in the region.
• Career path: focus on diploma and basic skills in the first two years; followed by progression to independent on-call breakdown technician and specializations.

• Contribution of 70% to the choice pension (ABP).
• Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10,7% of the gross annual salary; flexible deployment.
• 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment; additional vacation days are available through a personal budget and 13th-month salary.
• Compensation of €455 gross for on-call and breakdown services; hours worked during breakdowns are paid extra and accrue additional leave days.
• Outpatient allowance of €80 gross per month.
• Laptop or tablet and telephone for private use.
• Full reimbursement of the MBO level 3 training.
• Your own van with tools from day one.
• Vitality budget of €700 for a gym membership, for example.

You will work within a regional realization team with installers, supervisors, technicians, and specialists.
