You are affiliated with the Kolham/Groningen branch and stay up-to-date in the fields of technology and safety through our vocational school.
Job requirements
- In possession of a VMBO diploma (theoretical, mixed, or vocational) or an electrical engineering specialization, and willingness to follow a practice-oriented MBO-3 course to become an electrician.
- Preferably already have experience with electrical engineering through training and/or work.
- Proficient with computers.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Residing in the Groningen, Leek and surrounding area is useful for working on-call shifts.
- Good command of the Dutch language; minimum B2 level.
- Note: operating equipment can generate electromagnetic fields that can affect the operation of a pacemaker.
Tasks
- Completion of the training to become an electrical or gas technician, including writing school reports and taking exams for safety training.
- Performing maintenance work and troubleshooting together with colleagues.
- Ensuring that the company van receives maintenance on time and that the MOT is scheduled.
- Often start from home and perform work at various locations in the region.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining installations, replacing distribution cabinets, and converting distribution stations.
- Inspecting stations and recording transformer loads.
- On call for breakdowns as soon as you are ready.
Working conditions
You will follow a paid MBO-3 course to become an electrician, consisting of 2 days of theory and practice and 3 days shadowing an experienced technician. From day one, you will receive a company van, laptop, smartphone, good tools, and work clothing.
Official diploma and job guarantee upon completion of the training. 8% holiday allowance on your gross annual salary and a 70% contribution to the ABP Choice Pension. Compensation of 455 gross per on-call and breakdown shift and extra payment for hours worked during breakdowns, plus accrual of additional leave. A mobile allowance of 80 gross per month and an annual vitality budget of 700.
Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10,7% of your gross annual salary, with flexible deployment. 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment, with the option to purchase up to 35,5 additional leave days using the personal budget and 13th month. Working from home is possible with a workspace provided by the organization; you may also use your laptop and phone for private purposes.
Description of the organization
The branch's Realization department consists of employees with a technical background, such as mechanics, technicians, and site managers. You will frequently collaborate with other teams. Trust, flexibility, and craftsmanship are keywords that represent the department.
