High Voltage Installer
Description
A Junior High-Voltage Technician works at high-voltage substations and contributes to a reliable, stable, and expanding electricity network in the Northern Netherlands. You will follow a two-year in-house training program and work under the guidance of experienced colleagues, with safety always coming first.
Job requirements
- Minimum MBO-2 level in electrical engineering or automotive technology.
- VCA certificate and preferably BHV (First Aid) certificate, or motivation to obtain this through the employer.
- Driving license B, so you can drive the work van to locations.
Tasks
- Performing maintenance and inspections on switches, power transformers (110 kV/10 kV), batteries, and rectifiers.
- Carrying out improvement, renewal, and project-based work on expansions and replacements of installations.
- Working according to the four-eyes principle together with a technical specialist or team leader.
- Depart from home to the work location in your own, fully equipped work van.
- On-call duty: approximately one week every six weeks, during which you are available by phone 24/7.
- Performing electrical and mechanical work on installations.
Working conditions
- Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10,7% of your gross annual salary; flexible to use or exchangeable for extra vacation days.
- 28,7% on top of the salary in the form of holiday allowance, 13th month, and personal budget.
- 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment, with the option to purchase additional leave days (up to a maximum of approximately 35,5 days via personal budgets).
- Contribution of 70% to the ABP Optional Pension (employer pays two-thirds, employee one-third).
- Vitality budget of €700 gross per year, saveable up to €2.100 for study costs or student loan repayment.
- Reimbursement of €80 per month for coffee or lunch to go.
- Compensation of €464 gross per full on-call week for ongoing standby and breakdown services.
- Laptop or tablet and phone that you are also allowed to use privately, and a home office set up by Enexis.
- Mobility map for first-class travel and travel allowance; also a bicycle scheme and a company car with necessary equipment.
- Room for personal development through internal and external education and training.
