Description
As an Electrical Engineering Consultant, you are the essential link between policymakers and implementing parties in Hoogeveen. You take a leading role in the energy transition and are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of high- and medium-voltage (HV/MV) substations.
Job requirements
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-analytical skills and decisiveness.
- Technical higher professional education, preferably Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology; a technical associate degree is also sufficient.
- Knowledge of grid configurations and grid installations/components.
- Experience with process and project management.
- Knowledge of VGWM legislation is an advantage.
Tasks
- Advising Asset Management on guidelines for maintenance and replacement.
- Provide technical input during the implementation of new business assets.
- Ensuring clear instructions and their correct implementation.
- Collaborate with policymakers and executive parties to prevent disruptions.
- Act as a technical incident manager during incidents and maintain contact with internal teams and external parties such as the fire department and mayors.
- Applying expertise in design and implementation to realize new standards in the energy transition.

Description of the organization
You work in the Network Performance Management (NPM) business unit within the Technical Expertise North Electrical team, together with approximately 26 colleagues with a technical background.
The team works on various challenging projects, where the allocation of HS/MS stations takes place in consultation with Transport Officers and place of residence is taken into account.
