1st Service Technician Mechanical Engineering
The technician installs and maintains mechanical installations for various clients.
Main tasks: assembly, commissioning, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.
Required: MBO-3/4 Mechanical Engineering and several years of experience; willingness to work on-call shifts.
Description
Working in the Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe regions; working independently at client locations with the support of colleagues for consultation and assistance. Work is for clients in healthcare, education, the public sector, and business services. Due to the diversity of clients, the workday varies: sometimes multiple locations per day, sometimes spending longer periods at a single client.
Job requirements
- Completed technical vocational training at MBO level 3 or 4 in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Several years of work experience as a (senior) service technician.
- Solid mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Administrative skills for preparing reports.
- Clear communication to different types of customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
Tasks
- Installing mechanical systems and assisting with commissioning.
- Replacement of installations in boiler rooms, work on air handling units, and the installation of boilers.
- Replacing pipework and carrying out sanitary work.
- Performing maintenance, inspections and minor repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Working in accordance with applicable safety regulations and digitally recording activities.
- Registering additional work and coordinating with the work planner.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus.
