Compliance Engineer
Responsible for the safety and quality of equipment and ensuring legal compliance.
Tasks include drafting declarations of conformity and documenting equipment requirements.
Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics and knowledge of CE directives such as ATEX and PED.
Description
In this position, you are responsible for the safety and quality of new and existing equipment. You ensure that equipment complies with legal requirements, is safe and ergonomic, and support the engineering team in finding technical solutions. The role is both supportive and coordinating in nature.
Job requirements
- Technical higher professional or university education with broad knowledge of mechanical engineering and electronics.
- High degree of accuracy and a structured, hands-on approach.
- Creativity and solution-orientedness.
- Knowledge of CE directives (Machinery Directive, ATEX, PED, etc.).
- Proficient in drafting reports and documentation in Dutch and English.
- Basic skills in 3D CAD programs, preferably SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with API, DNV, and ISO standards for equipment.
- Proficiency in Office programs such as Excel and Word.
Tasks
- Recording equipment requirements and archiving.
- Drafting declarations of conformity.
- Contribute to solutions within the engineering team in the field of compliance.
- Contribute to internal engineering, certification, and inspection documents and standards for equipment.
