Permit Advisor
Description
A challenging senior role in which you work for various, often industrial clients, monitor project progress, and provide advice within the Environment and Planning Act.
Job requirements
Completed higher professional or university education in environment, chemistry, process technology, environmental law or demonstrably equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of relevant and demonstrable work experience, preferably within a consultancy firm and with the dynamics of multiple projects.
Knowledge of and experience with relevant environmental regulations (such as the Environmental Management Act, Wabo, Bor, and the Activities Decree) and possibly a specialization (e.g., BAT, discharges, e-MJV, or legal).
Affinity with and experience in planning, financial management, and coordination; commercially minded and able to convert inquiries into suitable quotations.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent command of Dutch and English.
Tasks
- Collecting, informing, and sharing project information with colleagues and clients.
- Preparing calculations and quotations for customers.
- Financial management and project planning.
- Coordination between different fields of work and disciplines, and coordination with clients regarding requests for quotations, projects, and assignments.
- Contact with clients and government agencies, and a role in relationship management and account management.
- Drafting permit applications and researching relevant laws and regulations.
- Supporting companies with supervision and enforcement.
- Guidance for juniors.

Description of the organisation
The Permits Team focuses primarily on relieving clients of the burden of obtaining appropriate Environmental Permits. The foundation is the environment, with attention to topics such as water, nitrogen, spatial planning, construction, demolition, felling, ecology, and waste materials.
The team acts as a point of contact and central hub between the client, government, and specialists. We work as environmental strategists and HSE consultants for the manufacturing industry.
