Boiler Technician
Senior technical position for the overhaul and maintenance of boilers and water heaters. Performs welding inspections and prepares quotations and reports. Requires MBO+/HBO, experience in maintenance within the energy sector and welding inspections.

In this senior technical position, you are responsible for overhauls of boilers and water heaters and contribute to technical and financial project aspects.
Job requirements
- Strong safety awareness and the ability to recognize risks.
- Experience with maintenance projects in an industrial or energy environment.
- MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make independent decisions.
- Willingness to work on weekends if necessary and to travel for projects.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
- Experience with welding or weld inspections, preferably with IWT or equivalent.
Tasks
- Performing overhauls on boilers and water heaters.
- Ensuring that installations continue to function safely and reliably.
- Collaborating with specialists and fellow experts on special projects.
- Performing welding inspections and assessing deviations.
- Ensuring that activities meet quality and safety requirements.
- Preparing quotations and collaborating with suppliers and contractors.
- Documenting inspections and carefully drafting reports.
