Electrical Engineer & Offshore
Work on electrical installations at maritime project sites.
Responsible for assembly, conversion, panel building, commissioning, and maintenance.
MBO level 4 Electrical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience required.
Description
You work at project locations, independently or as part of a team, on the assembly and modification of electrical installations and instrumentation within the maritime and offshore sector.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO education in electrical engineering level 4, or willingness to obtain this through training.
- At least three years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the maritime sector.
- Proactive attitude, strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
- Able to work independently, but also function well in a team.
- Good command of the Dutch language; English is a plus.
- Work in accordance with safety and health regulations.
- Willingness to travel.
Tasks
- Assembling and modifying various electrical installations and instrumentation.
- Panel construction and preparation of systems for shipbuilding.
- Performing installation work at project locations.
- Commissioning and fault diagnosis of systems.
- Service and maintenance of delivered installations.
- Travel to domestic and foreign shipyards and project locations.

Description of the organization
The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems worldwide for maritime and offshore applications. Complete installations are custom-designed and manufactured for Dutch shipyards and delivered as kits to shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, and China, among others. The services provided include consultancy, system engineering and design, supply of customer-specific and standard systems, panel building, installation work, commissioning, and service and maintenance.
