Responsible for coordinating establishment projects with a focus on land-related activities and grid expansion.
Leads project teams, monitors planning and progress, and manages stakeholder management and progress reporting.
Requires a higher professional or university (HBO/WO) working and thinking level and extensive experience in project management and land acquisition or property law.
Description
As a Project Manager, you coordinate and manage various projects within the Engineering & Construction site portfolio, with an emphasis on ground-related activities for the expansion and new construction of MS/LS substations and routes. You work within the Project and Program Management (P&P) team and contribute to the timely and surprise-free realization of site projects by creating the conditions necessary to strengthen and expand the grid.
Job requirements
- HBO or WO work and thinking level.
- Extensive experience in project management or comparable leadership experience.
- Experience with land acquisition and/or the establishment of property rights.
- Experience with change management.
- Experience with continuous improvement (e.g. SAFe Agile or Lean) is a plus.
Tasks
- Organizing project teams, connecting stakeholders, and establishing frameworks for projects within the Zwolle and Hengelo branches.
- Discussing progress, evaluating bottlenecks, and implementing improvements, taking into account stakeholders who also work on other projects.
- Planning and monitoring projects: gathering project and file information, informing and advising (branch) management on progress, risks, and approach, and creating capacity plans.
- Drafting and building (or having built) standard progress reports, for example in Power BI.
- Propose and implement improvements in collaboration and working methods, in consultation with the Management Team.
- Stakeholder management: ensuring aligned planning, timely execution, and good relationships with colleagues from engineer to management.
- Collaborate closely with (senior) colleagues within the area team and department experts.
Working conditions
The assignment has a duration of approximately nine months with an option for extension subject to suitable developments. On-site presence is expected, with work at the offices in Zwolle and Hengelo.
