Garden Intern
Description
You will be part of a driven design team consisting of landscape designers, technical designers, drafters, and planting specialists. You will participate fully in the design process and make visible contributions to real projects, ranging from small-scale to complex. The organization works on climate-adaptive, circular, and nature-inclusive projects in integrated teams with architects, project developers, and ecologists, among others, and in many cases also handles the execution.
Job requirements
- You are following a higher professional education program in Garden and Landscape Design, Landscape & Architecture, or Landscape Engineering (for example, Van Hall Larenstein, HAS).
- Creative and proactive, and you enjoy working in a team.
- Experience with, or the ability to quickly learn to work with, programs such as AutoCAD, Adobe, and SketchUp.
- Sense of design and sustainability.
- Affinity with spatial design and/or green management.
Tasks
- Supporting garden and landscape designers and technical designers in creating designs, visions, management plans, visualizations, technical details, and work descriptions.
- Developing design components under the guidance of (senior) (technical) designers.
- Contributing to sustainable, biodiverse, and climate-adaptive designs.
- Assisting in the development of spatial concepts and layout plans.
- Working in project teams and participating in team meetings, project visits, and creative sessions.
