Aspiring Gas Engineer
Description
In this role, you translate customer requirements into smart, safe, and future-proof designs for the gas network in Emmen and the Drenthe region. You collaborate with fellow engineers, site managers, contractors, and municipalities on replacement, reconstruction, and green gas projects. You will be guided by experienced colleagues.

- At least a technical MBO-4 education, preferably Mechanical Engineering with an affinity for gas.
- Willingness to pursue additional training and courses, including through the Engineering Academy.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language (minimum C1 level).
- Driver's license for project visits and on-site meetings.
Tasks
- Translating customer requirements into technical designs for the construction, modification, or redesign of gas networks.
- Preparing digital project drawings and performing detailed engineering.
- Coordinating designs and plans with municipalities and contractors.
- Monitoring progress and ensuring that those involved adhere to deadlines and agreements.
- Monitoring the financial project budget and closing with as little deviation as possible.
- Ensuring the quality of revision data and a careful handover to the execution team.
- Contribute to projects in the fields of replacement, reconstruction, and the green gas transition.
- Ensuring efficient and well-prepared projects so that execution proceeds safely and according to plan.
Working conditions
