Description
As an On-Call Gas Technician, you contribute to a reliable gas network and play a role in the energy transition.
You work at various locations within your region and leave from home in your own company van to carry out work according to instructions from the site manager or planner.
Job requirements
- Diploma First Gas/Water/Heat Fitter at MBO level 3 or higher.
- At least a VP LD network designation from VIAG.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving license B. Residing in the Drenthe or South Groningen region due to on-call duties.
- Willingness and ability to work safely with gas installations at pressures of approximately 30 mBar to 8 Bar.
Tasks
- Replacing existing gas pipes.
- Performing periodic maintenance on the gas network.
- Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions following reports from the control room.
- During breakdown service outside regular working hours, respond to emergencies such as gas leaks or disconnections at the request of emergency services.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the team and follow instructions from the site manager or planner.
Working conditions
- Warm welcome with an extensive introductory program.
- Compensation of 9455.- gross per full week of on-call and breakdown service.
