Technical Assembly Worker
Technical assembly worker for production and assembly in wind energy.
Tasks: overhauling parts, sanding and painting, assembly, and electrical assemblies.
Required: Technical MBO level 3 and experience with precision mechanics or production work.
Description
As a Technical Assembly Worker, you work within a small, specialized team responsible for the entire production process, from preparation to final inspection. You will be assigned to one of four sub-departments (electrical, generator, pitch, or wood) and are flexibly deployed in other departments. You work primarily at the factory in Groningen and occasionally assist with the installation of wind turbines on location.
Job requirements
- Completed education at least at MBO level 3, preferably in a technical field.
- Technical aptitude and experience with precision mechanics or production work.
- Independent and accurate working attitude.
- Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility for the quality of the product.
- Knowledge of or affinity with Lean Manufacturing is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and a collegial attitude.
Tasks
- Overhauling mechanical parts.
- Sanding and varnishing sails and tails.
- Casting of segments.
- Assembling pitch houses and other parts for new reels.
- Performing small electrical assemblies.
- Construction of the generator.
- Occasional installation of wind turbines in the field (with deviating working hours).
- Applying safety and quality regulations.
- Contribute to a neat, organized, and efficient workplace according to 5S/Lean principles.
