Project Manager & Strategic Investments
Responsible for acquisitions and strategic investments in renewable energy, from analysis to closing, in a cooperative, impact-oriented context. Key tasks: financial analysis, due diligence, negotiations, and preparation of investment decisions. Requires a Master's degree and at least ten years of relevant experience, including five years in renewable energy or M&A.

Job requirements
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, of which at least 5 years in renewable energy, corporate finance, project development, investments, or M&A.
- Thorough knowledge of valuations, financial analysis, due diligence, and investment structures.
- Experience with negotiations and complex transaction processes.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Affinity with cooperatives, sustainability, and social added value.
- Additional assets: technical insight into energy projects, an existing network in the energy or investment sector, and knowledge of French.
Tasks
- Following acquisitions and projects from analysis to closing, including monitoring of structure, planning, quality, and risk assessment.
- Detecting opportunities in wind, solar, heat, and storage, and closely monitoring market trends.
- Conducting financial and, where relevant, technical feasibility analyses.
- Leading financial due diligence and developing investment proposals.
- Preparing investment decisions and negotiating with developers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Representing the organisation in governing bodies and consultative structures.
- Building a strong network within the energy and investment sector and helping to develop knowledge and processes surrounding acquisitions.
- Collaborating with a Strategic Investments team and with other internal teams.
