Description
As a Field Service Engineer, you are the primary technical point of contact for hydrogen refueling stations. You ensure that installations function properly, from installing new systems to resolving complex malfunctions on-site. You work mostly in the field, often independently, with an expert team behind you. In this role, you combine hands-on technology with responsibility and variety, while contributing to the energy transition.
Job requirements
- Technical vocational training, for example mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or AOT.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in the industrial or energy sector.
- Customer-oriented attitude and clear communication style.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel, including abroad, including consignment services.
- Driving License B.
Tasks
- Analyzing faults based on data, manuals and reports.
- Ordering parts and arranging logistics such as transport, materials, and accommodation if necessary.
- Installing and commissioning systems, including assembling components and piping (air, water, oil, electricity).
- Testing and inspecting complete installations to ensure optimal operation.
- Detecting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic problems.
- Performing repairs or replacing parts to get installations operational again quickly.
- Performing preventive maintenance and inspections to prevent failures and improve performance.
- Accurately documenting findings and contributing ideas for technical improvements and optimizations.
