Description

As a Training Supervisor, you train electrical technicians to become skilled and safe employees. You work from the Work Placement Hall in Hoogeveen and the Emmen branch, and collaborate closely with technicians, workplace supervisors, supervisors, planners, and training partners within the Drenthe service area.

Job requirements

  • Minimum completed or nearly completed MBO-4 education in a technical field, preferably Electrical Engineering or Installation Technology.
  • Demonstrable experience as a (senior) supervisor in the electrical domain.
  • Preferably valid BEI, VIAG, and VCA-VOL certifications, or willingness to obtain them in the short term.

Tasks

  • Guiding, coaching, and assessing (new) mechanics during their training trajectory.
  • Providing practical training, instruction, and guest lectures in the Work Placement Hall and at Research & Development.
  • Ensure that realistic practical situations are intensively practiced in the Work Placement Hall.
  • Monitoring quality and safety during all work activities of mechanics in training.
  • Maintaining contact with workplace supervisors, regularly visiting the workplace, and gathering feedback.
  • Translating practical feedback into concrete learning activities and assignments.
  • Active role in the recruitment and selection of new mechanics, including conducting job interviews.
  • Act as a permanent point of contact for mechanics in training and support their development.
