Training Supervisor
You train electrical technicians and provide practical training and assessments.
Required: MBO-4 technical qualification and experience as a site supervisor in the electrical domain.
You work on the energy transition in the BPV Hall and within the Drenthe service area.
Description
As a Training Supervisor, you train electrical technicians to become skilled and safe employees. You work from the Work Placement Hall in Hoogeveen and the Emmen branch, and collaborate closely with technicians, workplace supervisors, supervisors, planners, and training partners within the Drenthe service area.
Job requirements
- Minimum completed or nearly completed MBO-4 education in a technical field, preferably Electrical Engineering or Installation Technology.
- Demonstrable experience as a (senior) supervisor in the electrical domain.
- Preferably valid BEI, VIAG, and VCA-VOL certifications, or willingness to obtain them in the short term.
- People-oriented and approachable, with a highly developed coaching style.
- Good listening skills and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
- Ability to plan and organize independently, with an overview of multiple training tracks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the program and operations.
Tasks
- Guiding, coaching, and assessing (new) mechanics during their training trajectory.
- Providing practical training, instruction, and guest lectures in the Work Placement Hall and at Research & Development.
- Ensure that realistic practical situations are intensively practiced in the Work Placement Hall.
- Monitoring quality and safety during all work activities of mechanics in training.
- Maintaining contact with workplace supervisors, regularly visiting the workplace, and gathering feedback.
- Translating practical feedback into concrete learning activities and assignments.
- Active role in the recruitment and selection of new mechanics, including conducting job interviews.
- Act as a permanent point of contact for mechanics in training and support their development.

Description of the organization
You will work within the Realisatie Drenthe department, in a training team that collaborates closely with four electrical teams, a meter cabinet team, and two gas teams. You will form a close-knit team with mentors, the planner, and the manager of the BPV Hall. The collaborative style is open and informal, with high mutual accessibility and cooperation with workplace supervisors, technicians, specialists, work planners, engineers, and drafters in Drenthe.
