Calculator Pipelines responsible for cost calculations and competitive tenders for pipeline construction projects.
Main tasks: preparing budgets, analyzing specifications, and comparing requests.
Required: MBO+/HBO in civil engineering and experience as a cost estimator, work planner, or engineer.
Description
As a Pipelines Estimator, you are responsible for preparing accurate cost calculations and competitive bids for pipeline construction projects. You are involved from the request through to the handover to execution and work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and work planners.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO+/HBO education in civil engineering, civil engineering, or similar.
- Experience as a cost estimator, work planner, or engineer within infrastructure/pipeline construction.
- Strong numerical insight and a meticulous work ethic.
- Ability to recognize risks and think in a solution-oriented way.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Interest in or experience with underground infrastructure and energy transition projects.
- Competencies: analytical, structured, cost-conscious, result-oriented, proactive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative.
Tasks
- Preparation of cost calculations and budgets for pipeline construction projects.
- Analyzing tenders, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Requesting and comparing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Drafting quotation letters, project plans, risk files, and schedules.
- Identifying risks and opportunities and translating them into realistic calculations.
- Contributing ideas regarding efficient implementation methods and optimizations.
- Transferring project information to the execution team.
