Description
Junior Mechanical Engineer within the Industry business unit, based in Groningen, Zwolle, or Leeuwarden. You will work on advisory and development projects for new build and replacement projects in sectors such as gas, new energy, chemicals, food, and pharma, with a focus on energy transition, circularity, and sustainability. You will work in multidisciplinary teams and receive guidance from a senior colleague.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch.
- Affinity with design and 3D modeling.
- Ambition and drive to develop yourself further.
- An eye for innovation, commercial opportunities and sustainability.
Tasks
- Collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines on industrial projects.
- Designing factories and installations and performing the associated calculations.
- Translating laws and regulations and client-specific requirements into safe, efficient, and future-proof designs.
- Designing and 3D modeling and further deepening your knowledge of engineering.
- Daily contact with senior engineers, other disciplines, and regularly with the client.
- Work under the guidance of a senior colleague to align technical choices in a well-founded manner.
