Description
Volunteer position at Estafette recycle shops in Leeuwarden, part of a network of seven shops in Friesland. You can work in various departments and are offered both permanent and temporary positions. At the start, you can participate on a trial basis for a month to try out different tasks. You will work with people of various ages and backgrounds.
Job requirements
Almost everyone is welcome; no specific education or experience is required. Motivation is the most important thing. No particular obstacles are expected to get started.
Tasks
- Working in different departments in the store.
- Cash register duties.
- Pricing of goods.
- Driving work.
- Creative activities related to reuse and recycling.
- Trying out various tasks during a trial month.

Description of the organization
Estafette recycle shops pass on goods, talent, and craftsmanship to new generations and operate from seven shops in Friesland. By doing so, they save approximately 2,4 million kilos of waste and a significant amount of CO2 annually. Every year, Estafette offers nearly 400 volunteers and dozens of students the opportunity to discover talents and contribute to reuse. With inspiring styling, the shops show that second-hand can also be the first choice.
