Technical Draftsman
Description
As a Technical Drafter in Emmen, you contribute to accurate and up-to-date asset data that is essential for the energy transition. You work within the Data Processing team of the Engineering and Construction department, which consists of approximately 13 drafters. You follow GEN (Smallworld/GIS) training courses and receive guidance from direct colleagues to quickly reach the required level.
Job requirements
We expect you to be able to collaborate, plan, and organize effectively. You are meticulous, quality- and results-oriented, have a positive mindset, and are assertive, asking questions to gain clarity.
- MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or civil engineering.
- Experience as a technical draftsman is preferred.
- Work experience in electricity and gas, or at least in one of both.
- Skilled with ICT systems and various software, including graphics systems.
Tasks
- Processing cable, pipe, and technical data in the company systems based on maintenance and fault changes and customer connections.
- Ensure that no incorrect information is recorded in the systems.
- Identifying and proposing areas for improvement to enhance data quality or improve working methods.
- Contribute ideas regarding the further digitalization of tasks and processes, and familiarize yourself with new systems and working methods.
