Description
As a gas fitter in training, you will work within a team of fitters, supervisors, technicians, and specialists in the Drenthe and South Groningen region. You will contribute to a reliable gas network and the energy transition; the atmosphere is helpful and supportive.
Job requirements
- Motivation to pursue an MBO level 3 education and associated safety training (a completed education is a plus).
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving License B.
- Residence in the Drenthe or South Groningen region due to breakdown services.
- Commitment to safe working practices and the ability to find technical solutions and clearly convey information.
Tasks
- Completion of a recognized MBO level 3 training program to become a gas fitter (theory and practical lessons and field training).
- Work under the guidance of an experienced buddy who assists with all common tasks.
- Daily inspection and maintenance work on the gas network.
- Detecting gas leaks, renovating gas pipes and troubleshooting.
- Carrying out grid improvements and work on low- and high-pressure grids.
- Working from your own company van at various locations in the region and serving customers (private individuals and businesses).
- Advancement to independent on-call breakdown technician and opportunities for specialization as a technician.
- Work according to strict safety rules and seek technical solutions; clearly inform colleagues and customers.
Working conditions
- Contribution of 70% to the ABP Choice Pension.
