Expert Operational Technology High-voltage Substations
OT expert works in a team on the construction and renovation of high-voltage substations.
Main tasks: configuring, programming, testing, and commissioning station automation and RTUs.
Minimum MBO-4 in Electrical Engineering and experience with electrical engineering or control engineering required.
Description
You will work at the Systems & Security department in the Overijssel, Drenthe, and Groningen region. There, you will form a team with fellow experts, a planner, and two team managers. The team is close-knit: serious when necessary, with room for fun and humor, and everyone is happy to help you learn the trade. We discuss ongoing projects and improvements in monthly team meetings. Through an internal training program, you will receive the necessary guidance to work independently and safely, with many opportunities for further development.

Tasks
- Construction of new and renovated high-voltage substations.
- Working at the intersection of electrical engineering, automation, and IT for both new construction and modernization.
- Testing, configuring, and commissioning new installations using advanced measurement and test equipment.
- Configuring, programming, testing, inspecting, and maintaining substation automation and remote terminal units (RTUs), including protection relays, measurement converters, and control equipment.
- Commissioning of medium-voltage installations in new construction projects.
- Ensuring a secure, stable and future-proof OT infrastructure.
- Collaborating with colleagues according to the four-eyes principle.
- Perform on-call duty once every six weeks, with appropriate compensation.
