Turbine Technician
Description
As a Turbine Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and optimization of complex energy systems, such as turbines and generators. You work within a team that carries out maintenance and projects on operational energy installations in industrial environments, where safety and knowledge sharing are central.
Job requirements
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel to various locations, nationally and internationally.
- Experience with or affinity with turbines, aircraft engines, wind turbines, or other large rotating installations.
- Full command of the Dutch language and willingness to improve English to B2 level.
- At least a completed MBO education in Mechanical Engineering or AOT.
- Ownership: working accurately and remaining involved until a project is fully completed.
Tasks
- Performing mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on gas and steam turbines and generators.
- Preparing and executing projects on operational energy installations.
- Reviewing technical drawings and procedures and ensuring the necessary materials and tools are available.
- Performing measurements and inspections and documenting findings.
- Actively contribute to safety measures, improvements, and knowledge sharing within the team.
