Gas Work Manager
Gas Work Supervisor for the preparation and management of safe gas operations in the field.
Required: MBO level 4 and VCA VOL plus BHV (or willingness to obtain these).
Position in the Leeuwarden region, without evening and weekend shifts.
Description
As a Gas Work Supervisor, you are responsible for the preparation and management of safe and high-quality gas operations in the field, with specialist knowledge and a strong sense of responsibility.
Job requirements
- MBO education (level 4) required.
- In possession of VCA VOL and BHV certificates, or willing to obtain these.
- Mastery of the Dutch language.
- Process-oriented thinking ability and good teamwork skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Stress-resistant and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills at different levels.
- Preferably in possession of the WV-nets Gas designation.
- Preferably knowledge and experience with G/W/E distribution in underground infrastructures.
Tasks
- Preparing safe and high-quality gas work.
- Applying specialist knowledge to gas operations and field troubleshooting.
- Directing and motivating colleagues at the work location and providing work instructions.
- Intervene and provide expert support when problems arise.
- Assess what is technically and practically necessary, where, and when.
- Conduct regular workplace visits to promote awareness and quality in the areas of safety, health, and the environment.
- Collaborating at various levels and working both independently and as part of a team.
