Customer Support Engineer
Customer Support Engineer responsible for advising on and selling after-sales services and account management.
Requirements: completed technical MBO/HBO education and good command of Dutch and English.

Description
As a Customer Support Engineer, you advise on and sell after-sales services for existing SMST installations and act as a dedicated account manager for specific customers.
Job requirements
- Completed technical education at MBO or HBO level (HBO working and thinking level).
- Preferably 0–2 years of work experience; a technical background is preferred.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Analytical ability and skilled in gathering and processing relevant information and formulating solutions.
- Good verbal communication skills; you convey information clearly and convincingly, both in groups and one-on-one.
- Commercially driven and flexible; willingness to be available via on-call service for acute problems.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Tasks
- Proactively approaching assigned customers to acquire service and Customer Support assignments.
- Preparing and submitting realistic and accurate quotations for aftercare activities in a timely manner.
- Registering in ISAH (ERP system) and checking and preparing project calculations.
- Following up on potential assignments and outstanding quotations, and negotiating within established margins.
- Sending order confirmations and ensuring correct management of project budget and documentation within the scope of the assignment.
- Ensuring correct verbal and written information is provided to the customer.
- Respond to acute problems, initiate solution pathways, and deploy personnel immediately where necessary.
- As a team, be responsible for the service telephone and serve as a temporary (secondary) point of contact for the customer during on-call schedules.
