Description
For our offices in Groningen and Leeuwarden, we are looking for an enterprising young professional who will contribute to making the living environment more beautiful, safer, and better. You will work on multidisciplinary civil engineering projects and be involved in real assignments from day one, with a tailored training program and continuous guidance from experienced colleagues. You will work closely with project leaders, structural engineers, and engineers, forming a key link within the design process. The teams in the North work on diverse projects, including the redevelopment of urban and rural areas and civil engineering structures, with clients such as provinces, municipalities, water boards, project developers, and contractors. You will be involved in the preparation, design, engineering, contract formation, and construction supervision of projects, thereby contributing to a sustainable and safe society.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university education in civil engineering or similar.
- Affinity with contract drafting.
- Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and collaborative.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
- Careful and analytical attitude.
Tasks
- Contribute to multidisciplinary civil engineering projects under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
- Ensuring that the correct client requirements are used and that designs are translated into contract requirements.
- Drawing up requirements specifications in Relatics.
- Drafting RAW specifications or (parts of) UAV-GC contracts.
- Assisting with estimates and other tender documentation.
- Providing team members with the necessary information and advising clients on contract formation, requirements, and procurement methods.
- Keeping up with, applying, and disseminating developments within the field.
