Process Engineer
The position is responsible for process design within technical projects and the realization of robust solutions.
Main tasks: designing process plants, preparing PFDs/P&IDs, and resolving compliance issues.
Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering and several years of relevant experience.
Description
The role is responsible for process design within technical projects, translating technological parameters and user requirements into robust, feasible designs. You contribute to compliance, a vertical start-up of the plant, and stable, low-interruption operations. You work in a complex brownfield environment and are involved in projects from concept to realization, in close coordination with production, maintenance, project management, and external parties.
Job requirements
- HBO or university degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Several years of relevant experience in the process or food industry.
- Experience with multidisciplinary projects in an industrial brownfield environment.
- Solid process knowledge, including debottlenecking, HAZOP/HAZID, ATEX, HACCP, commissioning, utilities, and rotating equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate user questions into concrete engineering solutions.
- Communicative, enterprising, decisive, and strong in planning and organizing.
Tasks
- Designing conceptual and detailed process installations.
- Drafting PFDs, P&IDs, and process descriptions.
- Specification of equipment and fittings.
- Resolving compliance issues, for example regarding the environment and emissions such as CO and ammonia.
- Analyzing processes and understanding deeper issues.
- Supporting production, including during campaigns.
- Contribute to a safe, future-proof, and efficient factory.
Working conditions
- 25 days of vacation and 23 ADV days.
